Jackoboard Sealing Kit

JACKOBOARD® 2K sealing kit is a two-part waterproof slurry for sealing the taped joints around the parameter of our JACKOBOARD® shower trays. The kit consists of part A and part B waterproof slurry, 2 internal waterproof taped corners and 1 x 10m roll of waterproof tape. JACKOBOARD® Aqua shower tray systems must be clean and free from any contaminates. Wipe down the surface with clean water and sponge and leave to dry before applying waterproof sealing slurry. Open and pour part A into the storage bucket, gently mix part B until a smooth consistency is achieved. Apply slurry with brush to clean, dry joint faces with a band slightly wider than the width of the waterproof tape on the walls and floors. Apply the tape to the slurry by pushing the tape into the joint. For the internal or external corners on our shower trays, use the preformed corner pieces first and over lap the straight tapes over the corner pieces. Finally, apply the 2K slurry over the top face of all tapes and leave to dry. For use in sealing JACKOBOARD® Shower trays JACKOBOARD® Waterproofing Membrane is supplied in a re-sealable bucket with all listed components below. Storage life is 12 months if stored in dry, un-opened conditions.
