1. Who we are

MYTRADE TECHNOLOGIES Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website mytradebargains.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent manner.

2. Data we collect

We may collect the following information:

• Name and email address (when you contact us)
• Usage data and analytics (with your consent)
• Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy below)

3. How we use your data

We use collected data to:

• Respond to your enquiries
• Improve our website and services
• Send you relevant updates (only with your consent)

4. Third-party services

We display product information sourced from third-party suppliers. When you click through to a supplier website, their own privacy policy applies. We do not control or take responsibility for how suppliers handle your data.

5. Supplier accounts

Suppliers can apply for an account at /suppliers/join and, if approved, sign in to a separate supplier portal at suppliers.mytradebargains.com. This section covers the data we hold for that surface.

• Application data. When you submit the public application form we store the website URL, email address, and the time of submission. Applications are retained until reviewed; rejected applications are hard-deleted with no audit trail.
• Sign-in identity. Approved supplier accounts are hosted on a managed identity provider in the United Kingdom. We hold your email address (the immutable sign-in username) and, optionally, a phone number you choose to add as a recovery channel. Password hashes and any time-based one-time codes you set up for multi-factor authentication are stored by the identity provider; we never see them in plaintext.
• Portal preferences. Settings you change in the portal (theme, notification toggles, onboarding progress) are stored on our servers keyed to your account, and contain no personal data beyond what you set.
• Account audit log. We retain a record of administrative actions on your account (creation, MFA reset, revocation) including the acting administrator and timestamp. The trailing twenty events are surfaced to admin staff for support and abuse review.
• Recovery. Forgotten-password recovery sends a reset code to your verified email address (or phone number, if added and verified). If neither channel is verified, we ask you to email us so we can verify your identity manually.
• Deletion. Email hello@mytradetechnologies.com from your account email to request revocation. We will sign you out of every device, delete the underlying user, and mark the login as revoked in our records. The revoked-row marker and audit events are retained as part of our security record.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to ensure the website functions correctly. Analytics cookies are only used with your consent. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
