1. Who we are

MYTRADE TECHNOLOGIES Limited(“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website mytradebargains.com and is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17164251, with our registered office at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, England.

2. What we collect, why, and on what basis

We hold as little as we can. If you browse without an account and decline analytics, we store nothing on your device and hold no personal data about you at all.

We never store your full IP address. We keep only a shortened form of it (the first three parts of an IPv4 address, or the first half of an IPv6 address), which identifies a rough network rather than a device. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with suppliers when you click through to them.

3. Prospecting and business contact details

We may contact businesses about MYTRADEBARGAINS using contact details published for that purpose, for example on a company website or a public register such as Companies House. Where we do, we rely on our legitimate interests in offering a service relevant to that business, and we hold the business name, the published contact details and a record of what we sent and when.

Every message we send says who we are and offers a way to opt out, and we act on an opt-out request straight away and keep a record so we do not contact you again. If you would rather we held nothing at all, email us and we will delete the record instead.

4. How long we keep it

Account data for as long as you have an account. Ask us to close it and we delete it, along with your favourites, lists and saved company details.
Billing records for six years after the tax year they relate to, because HM Revenue and Customs requires it. This obligation survives a deletion request; deleting your account removes your card details and cancels your subscription, but the invoice record remains.
Usage events as aggregate statistics. If you close your account we unlink the events from you rather than deleting them, so supplier statistics stay correct while nothing points back to you.
Emails and enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards.

5. Who else is involved

We do not sell personal data or share it for anyone else’s marketing. These are the only organisations that handle it on our behalf:

Amazon Web Services hosts the site and our databases, in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area.
Amazon Cognito holds account sign-in details, including the password hash we never see.
Stripe takes payment for PRO. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers. Stripe is certified under the UK and EU Data Privacy Frameworks for transfers to the United States.
Resend sends transactional email such as contact replies.

We also display product information from suppliers. When you click through to a supplier website you leave ours and their own privacy policy applies. We tell the supplier, or the affiliate network between us, that the click came from us so any commission is attributed correctly. We do not pass them your name, your email address or anything else about you.

6. Cookies and what is stored on your device

Most of what we store is not strictly a cookie. It is browser storage, which the rules treat in exactly the same way, so we would rather name it precisely than call everything a cookie. This is the complete list.

There are no third-party tracking scripts on this site, no advertising tags and no social media pixels. If you have not accepted, or you have declined, we create no vt or sid and send no usage events at all. Declining after previously accepting deletes both immediately.

Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page to change your mind. Doing so reopens the banner so you can choose again.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
Ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law
Ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it
Ask for your data in a portable form
Withdraw consent at any time, without it affecting what we did beforehand
Object to being contacted for marketing at any time

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
