The DeWalt Extreme Zirconium Oxide Flap Disc in 125mm diameter with a 40 grit is built for the most demanding stock removal tasks on site. The combination of the larger 125mm working diameter and the coarse 40g grit makes this disc exceptionally effective at tackling heavy welds, thick scale, and rust on structural steel and fabricated components where maximum removal rate is the priority. The zirconium oxide grain construction achieves 3x faster material removal than conventional resin-bonded fibre discs, keeping downtime to a minimum on high-throughput job sites. The Type 27 profile accommodates grinding angles of 0–15 degrees, and the iron, sulphur, and chlorine-free composition ensures safe, contamination-free grinding on stainless steel and other reactive metals.
