There is no need for studwork, also keeping the thickness of this acoustic wall lining down, and the plasterboard-faced wall liner boards can be decorated directly. Silent Board acoustic wall liner comprises a 12.5mm acoustic plasterboard layer with a 15mm acoustic resilient layer to supply airbourne noise reduction of up to 45dB. The average conversation between two people is at 30dB so Silent Board offers plenty of sound reduction for domestic residential and a range of commercial uses. Applied directly to masonry or to stud walls, Silent Board acoustic wall liner is fire retardant and compliant with Part E building regulations. This product is manufactured from 100% recyclable.
