1. Acclimatisation

2. Subfloor Prep

Apply adhesive in sections using a trowel. Lay the tiles into the wet or semi-dry adhesive (according to manufacturer guidelines), pressing firmly and using a roller for full adhesion.

Click the planks together using the tongue-and-groove "Comfort-Click" mechanism, ensuring a tight fit. Use spacer wedges for a 5 mm expansion gap around the perimeter.

6. Installation Speed

More time-consuming due to adhesive application, drying/curing times, and meticulous subfloor preparation.

Generally faster and simpler; a popular choice for DIY installation.

7. Immediate Use

Cannot be walked on immediately; must allow adhesive to cure fully (up to 24 hours depending on adhesive type).

Can be used immediately after installation is complete.

8. Professional Help

Professional installation is strongly recommended to ensure proper subfloor preparation and adhesion.

Highly suitable for DIY installation, though professional help is an option.
