This variant offers a 330mm (13in) jaw opening, providing excellent capacity for most workshop tasks. Fitted with an intuitive quick-release mechanism, simply squeeze the trigger to open and close the vice without using the mainscrew, allowing rapid interchanging of work pieces. Releasing the trigger returns the mechanism to normal for fine adjustment. The adjustable front stop or dog provides an additional cramping facility when used with a bench stop, combining a normal vice and tail vice in one tool. Two steel guide rods reduce wear and ensure smooth parallel action, while the jaws 'toe in' to deliver even clamping pressure over the whole depth of the work piece.
