It is used to bring horizontal and vertical pipe runs together, usually when connecting a pipe from a WC into the main vertical soil stack.The 92.5 degree branch is the most popular option - the angle creates a 2.5 degree fall that promotes self-cleansing. Soil branches are also available in 112.5 and 135 degree options.As our push fit cast iron soil pipes and fittings are all plain ended, sockets are required to connect this branch to a pipe.All of our push fit cast iron soil fittings are treated to a factory black two-pack gloss paint finish. The whole range is manufactured in grey cast iron to BS EN 1561.This soil pipe range is particularly well-suited to installations in public buildings, listed buildings and conservation projects.
