Description

5.5mm Hardwood Ply Class 2 When you need a lightweight yet durable sheet material that performs well in humid conditions, hardwood plywood is the go to choice. This 5.5mm Class 2 hardwood ply sheet offers reliable stability, moisture resistance, and versatile usability, making it ideal for both trade and DIY applications. Its EN314‑2 Class 2 glue line enhances resistance to moisture and humidity, ensuring dependable performance in environments where occasional dampness or temperature changes may occur. Beyond its technical performance, this hardwood plywood sheet features attractive face veneers, allowing it to be used where appearance matters as well as where strength is essential. From panelling and boxing‑in to crafting lightweight furniture components, its balanced combination of stability and finish makes it a highly practical material. Key Features of Class 2 Hardwood Ply EN314‑2 Class 2 glue line, suitable for use in humid environments. Premium hardwood face veneers for an attractive finish. Full‑size sheet: 2440mm x 1220mm (8ft x 4ft). Lightweight and easy to handle, ideal for both trade and DIY users. Suitable for joinery, boxing‑in, furniture backing, panelling, and general interior applications. Important Product Information This 5.5mm Class 2 hardwood plywood is designed for interior use where humidity levels are moderate, such as kitchens, bathrooms (non‑wet zones), and utility areas. While Class 2 plywood offers improved moisture resistance due to its enhanced glue bond, it is not intended for permanent exposure to water. For wet or external environments, a Class 3 (external grade) or marine plywood should be used instead. Please note: Timber is a natural product. Finish, colour and sizes may vary from illustration and description. While every care is taken to provide you the best material, with it being natural it can move, split, warp, twist, swell and shrink.
