This Bosch EXPERT R444 for Metal Fibre Sanding Disc is a 100mm diameter disc with a medium 80 grit, supplied as a single disc. The 80g grit is well suited to intermediate finishing work, offering effective material removal whilst beginning to refine the surface — ideal for blending welds and preparing metal surfaces prior to finer finishing stages. Built on a stable vulcanised fibre backing, the disc maintains consistent contact throughout the grinding process. The semi-friable aluminium oxide abrasive grit is specifically engineered for metal applications, performing across carbon steel, mild steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and cast iron. It is also effective at removing discolouration and surface imperfections.
