The Bosch EXPERT S522EHM is a carbide-tipped reciprocating saw blade engineered specifically for cutting thin stainless steel sheet and thin-wall stainless steel profiles — materials that rapidly destroy conventional blades. Bosch Carbide Technology integrates exceptionally hard carbide material directly into the tooth structure, producing a blade capable of lasting up to 50 times longer than the standard Bosch S922EF blade in tough materials. The teeth are ground to a fine 18 TPI geometry, enabling clean, controlled cuts through thin stainless steel without tearing or snagging. Suitable for stainless steel sheets between 2–4 mm and stainless steel profiles up to 50 mm diameter, the blade is also rated for glass fibre reinforced plastic and epoxy composites up to 50 mm. For best results, Bosch recommends reducing the stroke rate, disabling pendulum action, and using coolant throughout the cut.
