The DJV186 is a cordless D handle jigsaw which will run on any of the batteries in the Makita 18v LXT system. Featuring three orbital modes and a setting optimised for straight cutting, it has a variable speed trigger for intuitive control during every stage of the cut, as well as an electric brake for improved precision and safety. The slim body design has a rubberised grip and is comfortable to use, especially since the saw is also light enough to be used for extended periods without fatigue. The base plate has a slot for fitting a rip guide if required, and it can be bevelled up to 45° by using a hex key to make adjustments. The DJV186 is suitable for use with all standard T shank jigsaw blades and is ideal for cutting a wide variety of materials with the appropriate blades installed.
