Prong Button Backs (Clinch Buttons) Prong button backs are also known as ** **clinch buttons and are great for high speed production. Used on headboards, bars, restaurant booths and a wide range of furniture. Very effective for pre tufting covers before attachment to the furniture frame.

These upholstery buttons are held in place using the prong which is usually put through a washer or panel and then each side is opened and bent over.
