The Akustik -Protect Rigid (1748992), supplied by Eco Friendly Heating and Flooring Ltd , is a high-tech 1.0mm underlay engineered for maximum pressure resistance. Specifically designed for floating installations of SPC, laminate, and engineered wood—particularly in herringbone patterns—it offers extreme durability against dynamic loads. This permanently elastic mat features an integrated aluminium vapour barrier for mineral subfloors and provides superior ambient and footfall sound insulation while remaining fully compatible with underfloor heating. Akustik-Protect Rigid is a pressure-resistant, 10m² acoustic underlay for non-mineral subfloors that significantly reduces footfall and ambient noise, ideal for use under floating laminate, parquet, and design flooring

The Parador underlay Akustik-Protect Rigid also has very good ambient noise and footfall sound-insulating properties. The permanently elastic high-tech underlay is available in the format 1000 x 1000 x 1.0 mm and is characterised by its extreme resistance to dynamic loads and its durability. The underlay is free of plasticisers and complies with the VOC guidelines afsset A+, Blauer Engel and the AGBB scheme.
