This battery and charger starter set is suitable for 18v cordless tools from Black and Decker, including all current 18v DIY and Garden power tools as well as several vacuum cleaners and small applicances. It can be be used with all 18v products in the Black and Decker Power Connect series as well as previous generations supplied with the black and orange "LITHIUM" battery packs. The battery has a 2.0ah capacity, giving it a weight to performance ratio which is ideal for handheld power tools like drills and impact drivers which aren't typically used continuously for long periods. It has an integrated LED fuel gauge for checking the remaining charge at any time. The charger is a compact model which comes fitted with a UK mains plug and is easy to store and transport. An LED indicator shows the current charge status and will also light up red to alert the user of a problem with high temperature or if a damaged battery is detected.
