The T102BF is built from Bi-Metal: a hardened high-speed steel (HSS) tooth strip is bonded onto a flexible high-carbon steel (HCS) body, giving the blade the toughness to cut through hard, abrasive thermoplastic materials while remaining resilient under use. Flank-ground teeth are central to its performance, cutting cleanly through PMMA sheets without generating the heat that causes the material to melt and foul the cut. The result is a straight, smooth finish suited to precision work.
