The Ibstock Red Engineering Class B Brick is a high-strength, low water absorption brick designed for structural applications. Its low water absorption reduces the risk of frost damage and enhances durability. As an engineering brick, it is specified for its performance rather than its appearance, meaning it is not intended for facing work. Where aesthetics are a priority, a facing brick should be used instead. Please note this product is produced in Ibstocks Chesterton factory and is therefore more suited to counties in the Midlands & South Highly Durable & Frost-Resistant (F2 Rated) ï The dense, semi-vitreous clay body withstands severe weather and frost, ensuring long-term durability in challenging conditions.
