Make sure the wood is clean, dry, and bare. Shake the tin well before use. Apply generously with a lint-free cloth, working the oil into the grain. After 2–3 minutes, wipe away excess with a clean cloth. For best results, apply 3 coats, leaving 24 hours between coats.. Preparation. Apply on a warm, dry day above 10°C with no rain forecast. Sand the wood lightly to remove splinters or surface imperfections, and to remove any old finishes, paint, or stains. Wear a mask when sanding to avoid inhaling dust. Wipe wood with white spirit to remove dust or grease.. Coverage - 1L covers approx. 6m² with 3 coats – enough for a garden table and 4 chairs.. Dry time - Rainproof in 4 hours.
