Compared to untreated Radiata, the thermal treatment gives the wood a deeper and more uniform brown tone, often with subtle variations. Products such as Osmo UV Oil or Treatex UV Oil can enhance the wood’s natural beauty and help prevent it from weathering to a silvery-gray tone over time.

• Maintenance Schedule: Apply a fresh coat of oil every 2–5 years to preserve the original color.

• If the wood has weathered or the maintenance interval has been missed, the original appearance can be restored with light sanding and reapplication of the oil.
