The combination of the accurately machined housing and the solid steel guide rods assures a smooth sliding parallel action for the jaws free from side or cross deflection. The ‘toe-in’ feature allows the jaws to meet at the top only when fully closed thus ensuring evenly spread clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece.
