Aluminium alloy mountings are fully heat treated for strength, then polished and machine-finished to ensure a perfect handle-to-post fit. The exclusive Diamond Shank fits precisely into the square hole of the bass wood handle to eliminate turn, whilst hardened steel rivets properly sized and computer fitted provide exceptional blade-to-mounting strength. The non-welded construction prevents embrittlement problems, and the extra large toe rivet adds reinforcement at this critical stress point.
