This Dupre Vermiculite loose-fill insulation is a highly absorbent protector suitable for packaging, chimney lining, loft insulation and high-temperature insulation. Made from aluminium-iron-magnesium silicates, it is a natural mineral used for void filling. This fill consists of thick flakes, making it ideal for containers of liquids where spillage and leaks may occur. Free-flowing granules pour directly from the bag, filling tight, complex spaces inaccessible to standard glass wool or board insulation. No cutting needed; creates a seamless, continuous heat-trapping surface. Ultra-lightweight: Made of highly aerated particles with 90% air, enabling easy transport, handling, and lifting into lofts without stressing structural elements. Permanently protects against fire, remains non-combustible and thermally stable up to 1300°C. Decay and pest resistance: Its inert mineral makeup ensures long-term stability, preventing decomposition, deterioration, and attraction of insects and rodents.
