The DWD181 is a professional wall scanner which can be powered by any Makita 14.4v or 18v LXT lithium ion power tool battery. It has a large full colour screen which provides an especially detailed overview of the readings when scanning walls for hidden materials including metal, plastic and live electrical cables. To help pinpoint buried objects with maximum precision the DWD181 is equipped with a laser line for indicating the centre of the sensor as well as an integrated torch. With operating settings for Dry Concrete, Wet Concrete, Partition Walls or a Radar View Mode, the DWD181 alerts the operator to the presence of an object with an audible signal as well as indicating it on the screen.
