Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish - 5L

Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish is a high-performance stone sealer designed specifically for natural slate surfaces. This protective sealer creates a long-lasting, crystal clear satin finish that enhances natural colours and provides a stain-resistant coating. It dries quickly and is simple to apply, also making it suitable for other porous natural stones such as limestone and sandstone. Most importantly, it offers high-quality protection that prevents stains, grime, and dirt from penetrating the surface, making it easier to clean and maintain. The coverage varies depending on the surface type, but it should be up to 15m² per litre per coat. HOW TO APPLY: Preparation : Remove any loose debris from the work surface. Ensure you have adequate personal protection, including gloves, protective eyewear, a face mask, and appropriate clothing. Cleaning : Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry, and that the weather conditions are favourable before beginning. Application : Use Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish to seal the slate. Apply the product thinly and evenly with a low-pressure sprayer, microfibre mop, paintbrush, or soft cloth, being careful not to leave application traces or allow the product to puddle on the surface. Do not dilute. Drying : Allow 45 to 60 minutes for the first coat to dry before applying the second coat. Apply the second coat in the opposite direction to ensure a consistent finish. Multiple coats can be applied if necessary to achieve a "gloss" finish. PLEASE NOTE : Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish may alter the colour or appearance of some surfaces; always test the product in an inconspicuous area before using. Use masking tape to protect surfaces that are not to be sealed. This product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid & light grey) sandstone.
