Essential Slate Sealer Colour Boost - 25L

Essential Slate Sealer Colour Boost is an advanced stone sealer designed specifically for natural slate surfaces. It is also suitable for other porous natural stones such as sandstone and limestone. Our powerful yet environmentally friendly sealer offers superior stain protection, while the Colour Boost formula delicately enhances natural colours and appearance. It can be used on both external and internal surfaces. Coverage will vary depending on the type of surface application but should be up to 15m² per litre per coat. HOW TO APPLY: Preparation : Remove any loose debris from the work surface and ensure you have adequate personal protection, such as gloves, protective eyewear, a face mask, and appropriate clothing. Cleaning : Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before applying the product. Check that the weather conditions are favourable before beginning. Application : Apply the first coat of Essential Slate Sealer Colour Boost with a low-pressure sprayer, roller, natural fibre brush, or sponge. Do not dilute the product under any circumstances. Excess Removal : After 20 to 30 minutes, remove any excess sealer from the slate surface. Second Application : For best results, apply a second coat 45 to 60 minutes later. Curing Process : Ensure the stone surface is kept entirely dry during the curing process, which can take up to 72 hours. Failure to do so may result in unappealing white patches due to inconsistent drying of the sealer. PLEASE NOTE : The colour and/or appearance of the stone will change when this product is applied. Always test the product in an inconspicuous area before use. Use masking tape to protect any surfaces that are not to be sealed.
