Galvanising essentially involves applying a coating of zinc to the steel by dipping it into a zinc bath. At this time the iron within the steel reacts with the molten zinc to form a uniform coating that protects the steel by creating a barrier that keeps any corrosive particles in the atmosphere away from the base steel substrate.The frames for our steel covers are made from strong polypropylene.
