The Unibond RE-NEW Silicone Sealant in Applicator Tube is a mould-resistant bathroom and kitchen sealant designed to refresh old silicone joints without the need for complete removal. Its innovative auto-smooth nozzle allows tradespeople and homeowners to apply fresh sealant directly over existing seals, delivering a professional finish without additional smoothing tools. This silicone sealant features a specialised formula that covers and stops existing mould growth whilst helping to prevent future mould development. The ready-to-use applicator tube simplifies application for both vertical and horizontal joints in wet areas including baths, showers, sinks and worktops. Average coverage is 5m for a 1mm coating layer. Application is straightforward: clean surfaces thoroughly and treat any mouldy sealant with bleach or mould cleaner before allowing to dry completely. Position the nozzle with the UniBond logo facing you and tilt to create a tight seal between surfaces. Lightly squeeze whilst pushing forward, maintaining a consistent angle throughout. Any excess product can be wiped away with tissue during application, with a final pass without squeezing creating the perfect finish. Allow at least 6 hours before water contact.
