Makita's VC3011L has been intelligently constructed for reliable, problem free use with reduced maintenance demands. The vacuum cleaner's drum is manufactured from corrosion resistant stainless steel, & is IP24 splash protected to shield internal components from damage. The top of the drum is also fitted with a recessed carry handle, enabling easy lifting of the machine & allowing tools & storage containers to be securely positioned on the drum. When not in use, the hose can be kept securely in place with the included rubber strap, for safe & clutter free storage. The vacuum cleaner's practical exterior is complemented by an innovative internal design, featuring a washable PET cartridge filter to protect the turbine against fine dust & debris ingress, & a fleece filter bag manufactured to resist damage from otherwise problematic debris particles. Cleaning the filter is simple thanks to Makita's 'Push and Clean' technology, a semi-automatic cleaning system which utilises the vacuum cleaner's airflow to purge it of caked on dirt & dust at the push of a button. The 240v Version of the VC3011L is also fitted with a convenient automatic on/off function, designed to automatically activate & de-activate the machine's suction when a power tool is connected or disconnected from the hose.
