This fitting can be used equally well as either a normal pipe coupling or a slip coupling.Slip couplings are ideal for usewhen repairingdamaged pipes, or in areas where space is tight as they can be slipped back and forth along thepipe and manoevred intothe final position when the pipes are in place.If you are using this fitting to join a pipe that has been cut to length, you should ensure that the pipe has been chamfered and that you have lubricated the seal usingSG100 lubricant- this will ensure the best possible seal.Please watch our overview video below
