Description

The Klargester Cesspool 5700l provides a reliable solution for the collection and retention of sewage (cesspool) surface water, veterinary/animal waste, firefighting reservoirs and rainwater harvesting reservoirs.

The tank is manufactured from glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), and is a cylindrical shaped tank with a lower profile for faster, cheaper off-mains installations.

Klargester Cesspool Installation Guidelines

Klargester Cesspool 5700l Features and Benefits

  • Simple installation with minimal on-site installation time

  • Designed in accordance with BS6297, ensuring you meet all building regulations

  • High-level alarm available for complete peace of mind

  • Lockable manhole cover for security on site

The Klargester shallow dig septic tank is designed to reduce both installation time and cost.

The range is available in various sizes suitable for properties with dig height restrictions. The advanced design of the Shallow Dig delivers a robust, impact resistant and durable tank.

Homeowners with septic tanks that discharge directly into surface water will need to replace or upgrade their drainage either when they sell their property or as soon as possible.

Homeowners are responsible for their choice, installation and maintenance of their wastewater system under a new code of practice introduced by the Environment Agency. They have a legal responsibility to minimise the impact of your sewage waste if they manage it within the bounds of your property e.g. with a septic tank or sewage treatment plant (Binding Rules 2020, DEFRA, January 2015).
