K-Rend Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh is a reinforcing scrim cloth to improve crack resistance of K Rend render systems. The material is manufactured from specially woven glass-fibre strands to produce an alkali resistant, flexible mesh for use in any Portland cement, Hydraulic Lime, Acrylic or latex based stucco, mortar or surfacing material. The fabric is designed to reinforce the base coat, inhibit damage due to temperature related building movement and give surfacing systems increased impact resistant, When used as part of a fixing system it can help bind the substrate and base coats together.
