Fitted with a robust quick-release mechanism, simply squeeze the trigger to open and close the vice without using the mainscrew, allowing efficient interchanging of large and small work pieces. Releasing the trigger returns the mechanism to normal for fine adjustment. The adjustable front stop or dog provides an additional cramping facility when used with a bench stop, combining a normal vice and tail vice in one powerful tool. Two steel guide rods reduce wear and ensure smooth parallel action even under heavy loads, while the jaws 'toe in' to deliver even clamping pressure over the whole depth of the work piece.
