Cast Iron Halifax Soil Access Branch - 88 Degree x 150mm

This 88 degree branch incorporates an access point that allows the soil pipe to be rodded in either direction. It is often sited where at the point on the external wall where an internal soil pipe connects to the outside soil and vent pipe. To use the access point, simply remove the access door by undoing the bolts. This could potentially release any blockage above the door so it is always advisable to stand aside at this point! The 88 degree angle of the branch gives a 2 degree fall which promotes a self-cleansing flow within the soil pipe. As Halifax pipes and fittings have no sockets, couplers are required to connect this access branch to a soil pipe or fitting.
