This 10,000 Litre Vertical Tank Rainwater Harvesting System has a 2.4 Metre footprint allowing you to utilise those larger out of the way spaces enabling you to harvest a substantial amount of rainwater. This package includes a Submersible Pump as well as a Gutter Mate Filter Diverter which is vital to use with a tank this size. The Gutter Mate is fitted to the downpipe and filters the rainwater before it goes into the tank with the included Fine Mesh Insert. This 10,000 Litre Rainwater Harvesting System includes all the components required for collection, storage and distribution of rainwater around the garden (Garden Hose not included). Tank Details This 10,000 Litre Vertical Tank is brilliant for all kinds of jobs. It's designed to provide water storage at your convenience and for many purposes including landscape watering, groundskeeping tasks, horticultural and market garden applications, toilet flushing, irrigation, crop spraying and more. This black tank is a self-supporting vertical cylindrical tank and is made of UV stabilised MDPE (mid density polyethylene). This tank is resistant to rust and comes with a 10-year manufacturers guarantee. The rainwater filter diverter can be installed in 2 ways, either using the diverter outlet which is the smaller of the 2 outlets on the bottom of the GMFD, if you use the diverter outlet you can use the automatic cut off feature of the Gutter Mate filter Diverter when the tank is full. If you want to collect all the rainwater coming down the downpipe you should use the main outlet on the bottom of the GMFD. If you use the main outlet you will need to provide a separate overflow out of the tank when the tank is full. You should always allow a small air space in the top of the tank when full to allow for expansion of the water in summer of around 50mm. Just follow the instructions which come with the Diverter.
