Tate (Previoulsy known as Kingspan) Europed pedestals are constructed of zinc-plated steel to guarantee electrical continuity and are pre-assembled to reduce installation time. A locking nut on the pedestals guarantees that the pedestal head does not move after it has been balanced and secured. The heads of the pedestals are designed to accommodate a number of support stringers. The panels are correctly placed thanks to the 90mm diameter head caps. With a variety of floor heights ranging from 16mm to 347mm, adjustment is nominally +/-40mm; fewer on lower void heights.
